We *hope* to record and release new music in summer 2021 for late-summer purchase and fall use. We are also still promoting all the new music we released in spring and fall 2020, which hasn't been heard much; we encourage you to support living choral composers and the choral industry (which has had a rough time of it), by programming new music!
2020 Initiatives:
- CHORAL
- Launched the new Concert Series (edited by Dan Forrest, with music for school, community, and collegiate choirs)
- Fall- released 7 new titles for church and school choirs
- Released over a dozen Virtual Choir Kits
- Released Virtual Choir Kits and free curriculum to equip and enable educators for these new fall releases: Shalom, We Shall Overcome, Sing Out My Soul, and Measure Me, Sky!
- Our new music released spring 2020 is still available, including the new Small But Mighty SAB Collection which has proven very useful for reduced/distanced choirs.
- Recordings: Released five new albums on Spotify, Apple Music, etc.
- Three albums of Choral Anthems: Modern Choral Anthems, Choral Hymns, and Folk Anthems for Choir. Listen on your preferred digital audio platform!
- A Dan Forrest Christmas peaked at #3 on the iTunes Classical Charts
- Christmas Illuminations peaked at #10 on the iTunes Classical Charts
- VOCAL SOLOS: A new vocal solo collection, Songs for the Journey, with ten solos by Craig Courtney and Dan Forrest, available in low, medium, and high voice. Accompaniment tracks available for each.
- INSTRUMENTAL SOLOS: Instrumental Worship Vol. 2 by Molly Ijames, edited by Dan Forrest.
