A stately, neo-Baroque anthem that incorporates many of the different statements in Isaiah 53, sometimes simultaneously. All choirs will find this easy to learn due to the ease and limited ranges of the vocal parts. The stylistic authenticity is enhanced by the addition of a string trio.
